The work begins by casting on the stitches for each front piece. These are worked in rows, with increases for the neckline. The two front pieces are then joined and knitted together up to the sleeves. Next, the stitches for the back pieces are cast on and knitted in rows, also with increases for the neckline. Both back pieces are worked individually up to the sleeves and then joined to the front piece. From this point, the entire piece is knitted in rows to the desired length and finished with a cuff.

The cuffs, front edges, and neckline feature a ribbed pattern. You have a choice of back closure: either thread a knitted cord through the row of holes at the neck or opt for a button or ribbon as a closure.

• Another model is 181 cm tall and also wears size M.

Recommended needle sizes:

• Variant 1: Needle No. 3½ and 4½

• Variant 2: Needle No. 3 and 3.5

Gauge:

• Variant 1: 18 stitches = 10 cm

• Variation 2: 21 stitches = 10 cm
